Jaguars ranked among most watchable NFL teams in 2025 by ESPN

ESPN put together its list of the most watchable NFL teams in 2025 and ranked near the top were the Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made the top 10 on I’m Solak’s Latest NFL team “watchability” rankings for the 2025 season.

How good a team will be in 2025 can certainly factor into Solak’s rankings, but it’s not a prerequisite either. Solak put this list together with entertainment in mind.

The Jaguars would come in at No. 8, and of course, one of the big reasons for that is Travis Hunter, who will be playing both wide receiver and cornerback.

“Are you going to be the one person tuning into Patriots-Jets when the first two-way player since Deion Sanders is also playing?” Solak wrote. “Are you going to miss the first-ever game with two receiving touchdowns and a pick-six because you were dialed into the third quarter of Giants-Cowboys? Nope.”

With Trevor Lawrence healthy, Solak also likes the potential of the Jaguars’ offense. Helping to get the most out of Lawrence and the offense will be Liam Coen and his offensive scheme that significantly lifted Tampa Bay during the 2024 season.

A scheme built on multiplicity throws a variety of different looks at opponents and takes some of the playmaking burden off the quarterback. This preseason, we’ve already seen the early returns for Lawrence operating in this system.

“When Trevor Lawrence is starting, they have just enough on offense to make us believe,” Solak wrote. “Brian Thomas Jr. is the sort of star talent that demands eyeballs, and Travis Hunter might soon be the same opposite him.”

Defensively, we will see a more aggressive unit under Anthony Campanile, with more blitzing than what we saw from the Jaguars last season, more movement up front, and a vision-based approach on the back end that keeps defenders’ eyes on the ball and hopefully leads to more ball production.

While putting up points and explosive plays on offense are great, sacks and takeaways from the defense are fun to watch as well.
