LeBron James is going into his 23rd NBA season, which will set a new league record, but he hasn’t shown any real signs of slowing down. In fact, if anything, even at age 40, he seems ageless.
He could very well see his production significantly dip this season for the first time in his career. But he averaged 24.4 points on 51.3% overall shooting and 37.6% from 3-point range, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds a game last season, and now that he’s playing off the ball alongside Luka Doncic, it may be easier for him to continue to put up robust offensive numbers.
The ratings for all players in NBA 2K26 have been revealed, and James’ 94 rating is the seventh best.
Last year, James’ rating in the video game franchise was 95, which was tied for the sixth-highest along with Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
NBA 2K26 will be released to the general public on Friday, Sept. 5. Those who have purchased certain special editions of the game will receive early access next Friday, Aug. 29.
