Twitter reacts strongly to Patriots’ ugly preseason loss to Giants

The New England Patriots were defeated by the New York Giants 42-10 in the Week 3 preseason finale on Thursday.

They struggled to get anything going offensively in the game and got flat-out dominated by the Giants on both sides of the ball. The Patriots allowed 431 yards of total offense and only managed 191 yards of their own.

It was a far less impressive performance in comparison to their previous preseason wins over the Washington Commanders and Minnesota Vikings. They rested most of their starters for the game, but the team still hoped to see more fight from the backups.

If there was one bright spot in the game, it was undrafted rookie wide receiver Jeremiah Webb, who hauled in a touchdown pass from Ben Wooldridge and had a nice punt return for 22 yards.
