Luka Doncic’s overall rating in NBA 2K26 has been revealed

Must read

For the last few seasons, Luka Doncic has been widely considered one of the three to five best basketball players on the planet. Now that he has gotten into fantastic shape, he could be poised to have an MVP-caliber season once the new NBA campaign kicks off.

He averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists a game and shot 45% from the field and 36.8% from 3-point range last season despite being fat, out of shape and hobbled. In exhibition games with the Slovenian national team this month, he has looked svelte and quick, and it has given Los Angeles Lakers fans a glimpse of what he could look like during the new NBA season.

On Thursday, the player ratings for NBA 2K26 were fully revealed, and Doncic’s 95 overall rating was the fourth-highest.

Fellow Lakers superstar LeBron James came in with a 94 overall rating, which ranked seventh. Last year, Doncic had a 97 overall rating, which was second only to Nikola Jokic.

It is somewhat understandable that Doncic’s player rating has dipped a bit. But it is also very possible that it will see a positive bump at this time next year when NBA 2K27 is slated to be released.

NBA 2K26 will be available for purchase on Friday, Sept. 5, and select individuals will receive early access on Friday, Aug. 28.
