A key focus of the discussions was the evolving strategic environment in the Indo-Pacific region. The two sides emphasized their shared vision of a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific, stressing the importance of joint efforts to safeguard maritime security, promote connectivity, and ensure sustainable economic growth.
Prime Minister Ishiba and his Indian counterpart agreed that the India–Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership has become more vital than ever. They pledged to elevate this partnership to new heights, making it a central pillar not only of bilateral cooperation but also of regional and global stability.
